Palmeiras and Rômulo camp 'to hold' talks over possible move this window

According to Nosso Palestra, Palmeiras and Rômulo’s representatives will meet in the coming days to discuss a possible move in the current window. In recent days, three Série A clubs have indicated proposals.
Signed from Novorizontino in 2024 after impressing in the Paulista, the midfielder failed to establish himself at Palmeiras, returned to the interior side, and has been among this year’s state standouts.
Palmeiras have not set a price for Rômulo, and are waiting for suitors to advance talks on fee and any percentage retained, with an eye on value and profit in a future deal.
He missed the first leg between Palmeiras and Novorizontino, then featured in the decisive match on Sunday, the eighth of March, which sealed the club’s 27th Campeonato Paulista title.
The interior club is due to pay R$ one million on Monday the ninth.
Palmeiras’ next game is Vasco v Palmeiras, Brasileirão, 12 March, at 19:30 Brasília time.
