Palmeiras will be without Ramón Sosa, Barboza and Khellven for Sunday’s 20th round of the Brasileiro against Atlético-MG at Nubank Parque after all three were booked in the 3-1 win over Coritiba.

According to Globo.com, those cautions were the third for each player, triggering suspensions.

Sosa started alongside Jhon Arias and Mauricio, scored and supplied two assists in the victory. Barboza made his first start, forming a back three with Gustavo Gómez and Murilo.

Khellven featured at right wing-back in the absence of Giay, who suffered an ankle sprain during training this week.

The bans add to a lengthy absentee list. Flaco López is on holiday after playing at the World Cup with Argentina, while Giay is recovering from his ankle sprain and Felipe Anderson has a thigh oedema. Jefté is in physiotherapy after knee surgery that ended his season, and Vitor Roque is in physical transition.

There is some relief as Paulinho will return from suspension in the next round, and head coach Abel Ferreira will be back on the touchline after serving a ban for a third caution in the Coritiba match.

Paulinho was punished by the STJD for his celebration against Flamengo.
