Palmeiras set two more training matches, Juventus up next at Academia de Futebol | OneFootball

Palmeiras will stage two training matches this week, starting with an intra-squad session on Wednesday before facing Juventus at the weekend at the Academia de Futebol.

According to Globo.com, the squad will be split into two sides for the midweek run-out, with the external friendly to follow later in the week.

It is not yet decided whether TV Palmeiras will broadcast either game, as the previous two were. Last week, Palmeiras beat Mauaense 6-0, then Primavera 3-1.

There is hope that Barboza, a signing for the second half of the year who missed the first two matches, will take part. The centre-back is following a conditioning programme at the Núcleo de Saúde e Performance.

Palmeiras resume competitive action on 22 July, away to Coritiba in round 19 of the Campeonato Brasileiro. Kick-off is at 19:30 at Couto Pereira.
