Chelsea faced off against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the UEFA Champions League. The Blues made a slow start to the contest and conceded the opening goal in the 20th minute when Trevoh Chalobah scored an unfortunate own goal. Harry Kane doubled Bayern’s lead in the 27th minute from the penalty spot. However, Cole Palmer got a goal back for Enzo Maresca’s side just a couple of minutes later. The Blues went into the half-time break 2-1 down on the scoreline.

Kane scored Bayern’s third goal in the 63rd minute as Chelsea crashed to a disappointing 3-1 loss away from home.
