Pantaleão details logistics to support Corinthians fans for Santa Fe tie in Bogotá | OneFootball

Leonardo Pantaleão, acting president of Corinthians’ Deliberative Council, has travelled to Bogotá to coordinate logistical support for travelling fans for Wednesday’s Libertadores group match at Independiente Santa Fe.

According to Meu Timao, he reached an agreement with Colombian authorities to bring the rendezvous forward from 17:00 to 15:30 local, allowing time for security checks and traffic, with El Campín around 30 minutes away.

Pantaleão will head the club’s Grupo de Apoio ao Torcedor for away fixtures, a council initiative launched in September 2025. He previously performed the role at February’s Supercopa do Brasil against Flamengo at Estádio Mané Garrincha in Brasília.

Around four buses of Corinthians supporters are set to travel under local police escort, a plan aligned with the club’s proposal. Organised fans have also received help from supporters of Millionarios, Santa Fe’s rivals, both on the eve and on matchday to navigate potential issues in the capital.

He underlined the need to minimise late entries, noting that fans often journey thousands of kilometres and can end up inside minutes after kick-off.

The programme was revived after problems during the Barra tie on 21 April in the Copa do Brasil fifth phase, when organised fans reached Ressacada almost 40 minutes late and criticised the Santa Catarina police operation. Pantaleão said the schedule change in Bogotá considered that episode, preferring an earlier arrival to avoid missing the start.

Visiting supporters will enter via the north side of El Campín. Kick-off is at 21:30 in the fourth round of the group stage.
