Paquetá could reach historic Flamengo landmark | OneFootball

Lucas Paquetá could bring up his 100th Flamengo appearance if Filipe Luís uses him against Vitória on Tuesday 10. According to Coluna Do Fla, the midfielder is on the cusp of the milestone soon after returning.

Paquetá debuted for the senior side in 2016, moved to Milan in 2018 and returned in 2026. He has 99 appearances for Flamengo, with 47 wins, 34 draws and 18 defeats, plus 18 goals.

Paquetá, the most expensive signing in Brazilian football, has not scored for Flamengo since 21 October 2018, a 4-0 away win over Paraná in the league. He made six further appearances in that 2018 spell and has added three more since rejoining. The wait for a goal continues.

In 2026 he has gone close. Against Corinthians in the Supercopa he missed from close range, then versus Sampaio Corrêa in the Carioca the number 20 struck the post after a neat link-up with childhood friend and striker Pedro Guilherme.

He also has fond memories of Salvador, the venue on Tuesday. In 2018 he scored after 15 seconds against Vitória, the fastest league goal in Flamengo’s Brasileirão history, from a Vini Jr pass. He will hope to reprise that touch when Flamengo kick off at 21:30 Brasília time in the third round.
