The Copa Libertadores is under way and fans have been hit by a sharp price rise. Paramount, one of the competition’s rightsholders, has increased its plans by 80 percent ahead of Flamengo’s April debut.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the basic plan has risen from R$ 19,90 to R$ 34,90, while the annual jumped from R$ 169,90 to R$ 309,90. Other plans also saw smaller adjustments.

The premium tier moved from R$ 34,90 to R$ 44,90 per month, with the annual up from R$ 309,90 to R$ 399,90.

Paramount usually shares Flamengo broadcasts with Globo on free-to-air, though the streamer can show matches exclusively. It remains to be seen which broadcasters will carry the four-time champions in 2026.

In 2026, Globo will air two matches per round at the same time with regional splits, and one in the knockouts. GETV will show the same fixture simultaneously. ESPN and Paramount will divide all pay-platform games, with ESPN having first pick.

The list of channels for each Flamengo game will only be known after the group-stage draw on 18 March at CONMEBOL’s headquarters in Luque, Paraguay. As holders, Flamengo will be top seeds in Group A.
