Paris FC have made an offer of around seven million euros for AJ Auxerre striker Lassine Sinayoko, which Auxerre consider insufficient.
According to Onze Mondial, the bid is about seven million euros, while Foot Mercato reported he is understood to have told club officials in recent hours that he wants to leave and has chosen not to train for now.
Sinayoko, 26, was a key figure in Auxerre’s survival last season and scored 12 goals. He has interest in France and in the Premier League.
In the player’s view, a written document negotiated with Auxerre’s president-director general Baptiste Malherbe during his January extension, which runs to 2027 with an option for a further year, promised a sale if an offer matching Lens’s terms arrived. That benchmark was six and a half million euros plus one and a half million euros in bonuses.
Auxerre’s hierarchy consider that document void and value Sinayoko above seven million euros. The forward wants to join Paris FC and is ready to take a firmer line.
