Parma director Federico Cherubini warns Serie A sides interested in Giovanni Leoni, including Milan, Inter and Juventus, that ‘foreign clubs’ are also monitoring their promising defender.
Leoni has emerged as a transfer target for Serie A giants Inter, Milan and Juventus. According to Gazzetta, the Nerazzurri are considering an offer for the 18-year-old, with a budget of €30m.

Questioned by Sky Sport Italia on the interest of the Serie A trio on Monday evening, Cherubini replied (via TMW): “There’s also interest from abroad. We’ve said that, in our view, his journey at Parma has just started and should continue. As of today, neither Leoni nor his entourage has told us otherwise. We’re convinced he can stay at Parma. At least, it would be the best thing for Parma and the player. The transfer window opens tomorrow, and anything can happen.”

Football Italia reported earlier this month that Parma would not sell Leoni this summer unless they received offers exceeding €25m.
Inter are on the verge of signing another Parma player, French striker Ange-Yoan Bonny, who is set to undergo his medical tests with the Nerazzurri on Tuesday.

“It’s no secret that we have an advanced negotiation with Inter, but there have been too many instances where comments were made about situations that ultimately didn’t materialise,” said Cherubini.
“There are still things to be done, but both clubs are eager to finalise the deal.”
Bonny, 21, has scored six goals and provided four assists in 37 appearances across all competitions with Parma in 2024-25, including two goals and two assists in 13 appearances under Cristian Chivu.
