Pascal Struijk has hinted at a Leeds United boost ahead of Sunday’s Premier League finale at West Ham, after posting a match graphic on his Instagram story. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, such posts often indicate inclusion in the matchday squad.

The centre-back missed last weekend’s home game against Brighton with a hip injury, having been forced off midway through the second half at Tottenham the previous Monday. He was originally a doubt for that match.

On Friday Daniel Farke said Struijk had returned to training and was hopeful the defender could be available for the trip.

Leeds had already ruled out Gabi Gudmundsson, Noah Okafor, Ilia Gruev, Anton Stach and Sean Longstaff for the finale. Struijk and Jayden Bogle were listed as doubts at Friday’s press conference.

As of Sunday lunchtime there was no further update on Bogle, who has missed the last two matches with a hamstring injury. Farke said on Friday the right back might have a chance of featuring, depending on how his body responded.
