Manchester United are seen as the frontrunners to sign Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth.

The Ghana winger’s contract at Bournemouth includes a release clause worth £65 million for the upcoming winter transfer window.

Recently, The Peoples Person relayed a report claiming United have already spoken to Semenyo about personal terms, with the Cherries “resigned” to losing their star attacker.

Semenyo is not expected to replace Dorgu

Ruben Amorim’s first signing at United, Patrick Dorgu, has fallen down the pecking order, having struggled to make an impact as a left-sided wing-back.

The young Dane, signed from Lecce for £30m in January, has not started in the Red Devils’ last four games in the Premier League.

Amorim wants to sign a player similar to Amad Diallo, one who can play as a wide forward or a wing-back on the left flank. Semenyo certainly fits that brief, owing to his athleticism and flair.

However, according to CaughtOffside, United are targeting Semenyo to play in their front three despite the summer arrivals of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.

Man United set their sights on Brown and Livramento

United are “already looking to replace” Dorgu, but they have different names on their radar for his spot in Amorim’s system.

United are thought to be keeping tabs on Eintracht Frankfurt left-back Nathaniel Brown and Newcastle United’s Tino Livramento.

It has been previously reported that Eintracht are “100 per cent convinced” the German full-back will leave in the summer.

The Bundesliga outfit are demanding €60–70m for Brown, who has five assists to his name across all competitions this campaign.

Livramento also has his admirers at Old Trafford. The ex-Chelsea man, who joined Newcastle from Southampton in a deal worth £32m, excels at going forward.
