Pau Victor header keeps Braga on course for Europe | OneFootball

Braga beat Casa Pia 1-0 on Thursday at the Estádio Municipal de Rio Maior to remain fourth in Liga Portugal.

In the 37th minute, Pau Victor glanced a header into the centre of the net after Demir Tiknaz nodded a corner back across goal.

After the restart, the visitors managed the tempo while Casa Pia introduced Cassiano to add presence up front and chased a response.

Lukas Hornicek saved from Gaizka Larrazabal after a left-footed strike from range (70.). Rafael Brito then created a clear opening for Pedro Rosas, who fired over from the centre (75.).

Braga controlled possession at 69.3% and produced eight attempts, two on target. Casa Pia registered seven attempts and worked the goalkeeper once. Paulo Oliveira anchored the back line with eight clearances.

Next, Casa Pia visit Gil Vicente. Braga travel to Santa Clara in the league, then host SC Freiburg in the Europa League.
