Pau Víctor reveals which Barcelona teammate advised him on joining Braga | OneFootball

Recently-departed Barcelona star Pau Víctor has revealed that he was advised on his move to SC Braga by Blaugrana wide-man Raphinha.

This comes after the Brazilian spent the early years of his career plying his trade in Portugal.

The name of attacker Víctor has of course dominated the headlines in Catalunya’s capital over the last 48 hours.

This comes after the 23-year-old saw his short-lived stint in Hansi Flick’s Barcelona squad brought to a permanent close.

Víctor has put pen to paper on terms with Portuguese outfit SC Braga, through the summer of 2030.

And as alluded to above, whilst mulling over the possibility of taking his talents to the Estádio Municipal de Braga, Víctor sought out the advice of another member of Barca’s attacking ranks.

Speaking following his unveiling this weekend, in quotes relaid by Diario Sport, the Spaniard explained:

“Raphinha has spoken very well of the club. He told me that they are an ambitious club and that they were one of the greats in Portugal.”
