Roma attacker Paulo Dybala knows that Roma fans are special.
The Argentine was quickly embraced by the Giallorossi fanbase who now consider him their idol and who forced him to reconsider a very rich offer from Saudi Arabia last year.
In a brand new interview with Sports Illustrated, Dybala detailed his decision to remain in the Italian capital and reject Al Qadsiash’s proposal.
“I won’t lie, these are financial figures that really make you think,” said Dybala when asked about that particular offer.
“But the truth is that I am very happy here in Rome and my family is also very happy here. My wife is a very important part of my life and her happiness is also mine, and if you ask my mother, she was the one who least wanted me to leave.”
“I have had a great career and the love I receive from Roma, from the fans, from the club, from the owners and from the people on the street, I don’t know if I would find it anywhere else.”
“When you put something on the scale, you have to focus on what weighs the most, and that’s why we decided to stay in Rome.”
