Lamine Yamal scored a brilliant goal for Spain against the Netherlands in the second leg of their UEFA Nations League quarter-finals.
The 17-year-old Barcelona sensation found the back of the net in extra time, scoring with a fine strike to put Spain ahead 3-2, but a goal from Xavi Simons later on sent the game into penalty shootouts.
The Barcelona wonderkid was guilty of missing his penalty even as La Roja went on to secure a 5-4 shootout victory.
Speaking to the media after the game, Barcelona and Spain midfielder Pedri revealed what he told Lamine Yamal after the youngster missed his spot-kick during the shootout.

And, when asked what he said to Lamine after the teenager’s miss, Pedri jokingly replied (h/t SPORT):
“I told Lamine that what a sh*tty penalty he took.”
Continuing, he added: “But well, I think he’s a player who learns from that, we can’t put pressure on him.
“He’s a player who has to be taken care of, be with him and above all enjoy himself on the field, which is what he has to do.”
Lamine Yamal has been in the headlines during the international break after former Real Madrid and Netherlands playmaker Rafael van der Vaart took shots at the Barcelona prodigy.
Hitting back at the Dutchman, Yamal hit back at van der Vaart on social media after the win against the Oranje.
