Pedro can equal Gabigol and top Flamengo century list, target Doval mark at Maracanã | OneFootball

Pedro can draw level with Gabigol as Flamengo’s top scorer of the century when Remo visit the Maracanã on Thursday.

Under Leonardo Jardim, the number nine has reclaimed his starting role and is playing more minutes. According to Globo.com, he has eight goals this season. He faces Remo at 20:00 Brasília time in the seventh round.

Gabigol, a 2019 icon now at Santos, left with 161 in 308. Pedro has 160 in 318 and could equal or overtake his former team-mate.

Pedro is five assists short of Gabigol’s 44 and two trophies shy of his 13. The report counts a champion only if named in a match squad, and injuries kept him out of the 2021 and 2025 Supercopas and last year’s Carioca.

He could also rise to sixth on the club’s all-time list, behind Romário, Pirillo, Henrique Frade, Dida and Zico.

Pedro already has 111 at the Maracanã, 100 for Flamengo and 11 for Fluminense. One more would take him level with Doval on 112 and into the stadium’s all-time top four.

Doval’s 112 breaks down as 73 for Flamengo, 38 for Fluminense and one for the former Rio state select. Above them sit Romário on 190, Roberto Dinamite on 201 and Zico with 319.
