Corinthians drew 1-1 with Cruzeiro at the Mineirão on Wednesday night, as Pedro Raul returned to the starting XI for the first time in more than a month.
His previous start came on 15 January in round two of the Campeonato Paulista, a 3-0 defeat to Red Bull Bragantino. According to Meu Timao, he then logged 78 minutes across six outings with one assist, and spent five matches unused on the bench.
Since returning from a loan at Ceará at the start of the year, the No 18 has yet to score. That contrasts with 2025 for the northeastern club, when he struck 14 times across the Brasileirão and Campeonato Cearense. He was recently criticised by coach Dorival Júnior, who asked for greater intensity in training.
Signed in early 2024 for $5 million, around R$ 25.6 million at current rates, he has four goals and three assists in 48 appearances for Corinthians. In Belo Horizonte he struggled, misplacing routine passes, and was replaced on 75 minutes by Memphis Depay.
Corinthians now turn to Novorizontino in the Campeonato Paulista semi-finals on Saturday at 20:30, at Estádio Dr. Jorge Ismael de Biasi.
