Penshaw’s Princess, a 19-year-old Shetland pony billed as Sunderland’s psychic tipster, has picked an England win over Norway in Saturday’s World Cup quarter-final.
According to Sunderland Echo, the pony chose the bowl marked win when presented with win and lose options at Penshaw Equestrian Centre ahead of the game in Miami.
Her record has been mixed, correctly calling victories over Panama and Congo, but getting England’s clash with Mexico wrong.
England beat Mexico 3-2 on Monday, July six to reach the last eight, with Thomas Tuchel’s team now due to face Norway on Saturday, July 11.
She is the first at the riding school to sense feeding time, so remains the obvious candidate for predictions.
Kick-off is 10pm on Saturday, July 11, and her latest pick points to a win for the Three Lions.
