Former Barcelona star Thierry Henry was quick to reveal his admiration for a current member of the attacking ranks at Real Madrid on Wednesday.
The player in question? Rodrygo.
Frontman Rodrygo of course featured from the off once more last night, as Real Madrid welcomed Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City to Spain’s capital for a Champions League clash.
When all was said and done, Los Blancos booked their place in the competition’s Last-16, courtesy of a 3-1 triumph.

So often overlooked owing to the brilliance of teammates Mbappé, Vinícius Jr. and Jude Bellingham, the 24-year-old, in turn, was afforded some deserved praise on the back of the full-time whistle on Wednesday.
Speaking as part of his punditry role for CBS Sports, Thierry Henry explained:
‘“Rodrygo… this guy, people don’t talk about it but the work he does for his team, tremendous. And his ability…”
