The Manchester City manager could say little more than two words when finding out
Pep Guardiola did not know how to react when finding out Myles Lewis-Skelly mimicked Erling Haaland's goal celebration in Arsenal's 5-1 win over Manchester City.
It was another big defeat in a season very few would have seen coming for City.
When Erling Haaland equalised for City in the 55th minute at the Emirates Stadium, it seemed as though the champions might go on to take maximum points.
However, Thomas Partey restored Arsenal's lead within 40 seconds of the restart, prompting a collapse from City which saw teenagers Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri both on target either side of a Kai Havertz strike.
Lewis-Skelly who in the reverse fixture was asked "who are you?" by Haaland, celebrated by seemingly mocking the striker by doing his 'zen' goal celebration.
Speaking after the game, Guardiola said: "I only regret the last 25 minutes, we forgot to do what we should do, what we have done for 65, 70 minutes.
Of course it's a difficult game starting in this stadium, against that team in the first minutes, it's happened many times this season.
"But after 10, 15 minutes I think we took the game and played really, really, really, really good and we are in it after 1-1. Of course at 3-1 they are comfortable, its more difficult.
"It's happened all season, we are giving away too many things."
Guardiola was unaware of the Lewis-Skelly celebration and was asked about it during his post-match press conference, to which he said: "Oh, I didn't see it. I didn't seem tham do that. That's good, that good."
Then there was a long pause, during which time Guardiola looked down at his desk and quietly said: "That's good."
Guardiola then stood up and turned to City’s press officer, and said: "Did you like my answer?"
