The six players nominated for the 2024/25 FA Young Player of the Year award have been announced.
Arsenal teenager Myles Lewis-Skelly is among the names included after a brilliant breakout campaign at the Emirates.
The 18-year-old made 39 appearances in all competitions and helped Arsenal reach the Champions League semi-finals.
Lewis-Skelly made his senior England debut in March and marked the occasion with a goal, becoming the youngest ever debut scorer for the Three Lions.
Arsenal teammate Ethan Nwaneri is also named on the six-player shortlist. Nwaneri scored nine times for the Gunners across all competitions last season.
Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers is a frontrunner for the award. Rogers is another who earned his first England honours last season, after scoring 14 goals and providing 15 assists across all competitions.
Bournemouth are well represented with both Dean Huijsen and Milos Kerkez on the shortlist, though the former has since completed a £50m move to Real Madrid.
Liam Delap is the final name on the shortlist after impressing despite Ipswich Town’s relegation.
The 22-year-old scored 12 goals in the Premier League, form which earned the forward a £30m transfer to Chelsea this summer. Delap will be aiming to succeed new teammate Cole Palmer, who claimed the honour in 2023/24.
The winner will be announced at the 2025 PFA Awards, which will be held in Manchester on 19th August 2025.
