The aggregate winner will face LIGA MX powerhouse Club América next month in the Round of 16. If the teams are deadlocked on aggregate and away goals after 90 minutes, extra time and potentially penalty kicks await.

Philadelphia began their Champions Cup campaign with a dominant 5-0 road win in which DP striker Bruno Damiani netted a brace and club-record signing Ezekiel Alladoh scored on his debut.

The Union followed that up with a 1-0 defeat at D.C. United to kick off their league campaign. Alladoh was red-carded in the 59th minute, stalling hopes for a comeback.

Amid those highs and lows, the Union are expected to advance past Defence Force given their sizable advantage following Leg 1.

Defence Force Football Club

Defence Force's return to the Concacaf Champions Cup could be short-lived.

They face a 5-0 hole, were outshot 19-4 in Leg 1 and will be without former MLS fullback Joevin Jones after he was red-carded in second-half stoppage time. Jones won two MLS Cup titles with Seattle Sounders FC.

The historic side also features former MLS midfielder Kevin Molino, who made over 150 appearances (all competitions) spanning the Columbus Crew, Minnesota United FC and Orlando City.
