A photo of the delighted reactions of some of Barcelona’s substitutes to the double netted by teammate Jules Koundé on Tuesday has come to the fore online.

Defender Koundé is for his part of course fresh off an outing to forget yesterday evening.

Afforded a starting berth in Barcelona’s Champions League meeting with Eintracht Frankfurt, the Frenchman went on to prove himself the star of the show.

With Hansi Flick’s troops trailing by a goal to nil, Koundé popped up with a pair of 2nd-half headers, to complete the turnaround, and ensure a 2-1 Blaugrana triumph.

And as alluded to above, looking over the moon for their side’s surprise hero were several of the hosts’ substitutes on Tuesday.

As showcased below, all of Roony Bardghji, Andreas Christensen, Frenkie de Jong and Marc Casadó were spotted smiling ear to ear on the back of Koundé nodding home his 2nd of the clash:
