RB Bragantino beat Mirassol 1-0 at the Maião as Isidro Pitta's second half finish lifted the visitors from 11th to ninth in the Brasileirão.

Early on, Walter kept Mirassol level with smart saves from Henry Mosquera and Lucas Barbosa, while the hosts threatened sporadically from set pieces.

In the 51st minute, Isidro Pitta smashed in from close range after Lucas Barbosa kept a corner alive to break the deadlock.

Mirassol rallied late. Gabriel Pires struck the right post (82.), and André Luis glanced a header wide in the seventh minute of stoppage time.

Braga carried a steady threat, recording 16 attempts with five on target. Mirassol had 54.3% possession and 12 corners but worked Tiago Volpi only twice.
