Napoli: Meret 6; Di Lorenzo 6, Rrahmani 6, Juan Jesus 6 (68′ Buongiorno 6.5), Spinazzola 6 (80′ Olivera N/A); Lobotka 6; Politano 6.5, Anguissa 7, De Bruyne 5.5 (80′ Lang N/A), McTominay 6; Lucca 5 (75′ Ambrosino N/A). Coach: Conte 6.
Best Napoli player: Anguissa 7 – When McTominay missed his big chance at minute 92, it all seemed settled for a draw. Anguissa disagreed. In the right place at the right time to score a massive goal for the Partenopei.
Lowest Napoli rating: Lucca 5 – Lele Oriali said it in the build-up: Lucca is still settling in. Despite the many crosses from Politano, Lucca was never quite in the right position inside the box, and the link-up with the rest of the team has to improve. Conte even picked youngster Ambrosino for the final minutes.

Napoli coach: Conte 6 – Napoli dominated possession but didn’t create much. Mina was a giant in the air, practically making all of Politano’s crosses useless. Eventually, Napoli secured the three points thanks to Conte’s substitutions as well (Buongiorno’s assist).

Best Cagliari player: Mina 7 – Won most of the aerial duels, frustrating both Lucca and McTominay. It wasn’t enough.
Cagliari coach: Pisacane 6 – Cagliari put in a brave performance, defensively very solid, and could have even taken the lead with Folorunsho in the second half. They’ll fly back to Sardinia with many regrets.
