Piotr Zielinski has yet to find his footing at Inter Milan, but he enjoys his early days at Giuseppe Meazza under Simone Inzaghi.

Fresh off scoring for Poland, Zielinski had an interview with FootTruck, as reported by FCInterNews, discussing his early experience at Inter.

Zielinski joined the Nerazzurri in the summer as a free agent.

After eight years at Napoli, the 30-year-old swapped allegiances in Serie A to team up with the reigning champions.

Inter landed the versatile midfielder on a Bosman deal as his contract in Naples ran out.

However, injuries have prevented the Polish ace from showcasing his quality in the opening stage of the season.

Yet to register his first league start for Inter, Zielinski found some respite during the international break.

Indeed, he scored a fifth-minute deadlock-breaker in Poland’s 3-3 draw against Croatia on Tuesday.

But it came at a hefty price.

Per recent reports, Zielinski picked up a hamstring injury.

Subsequently, he will have to undergo further checks to determine the extent of potential damage.

Despite being handed less than 100 minutes of Serie A action, Zielinski has swiftly grown fond of Inzaghi.

The ex-Lazio manager’s approach has seemingly impressed the Polish megastar.

“He is a good coach, very tactically prepared,” Zielinski said. “He is really unleashed on the bench, he reacts to everything that happens on the pitch.

Zielinski also opened up about Inzaghi’s active involvement in matches and on the training ground.

“He talks a lot, gives a lot of directions, shouts a lot. The day after the game, he no longer has a voice.”

“But he is a super person, he stays in touch with the whole team to see what we do and to make us feel like a group.

“He’s good, I like working with him.”
