Port Vale have made ex-Walsall loanee Rico Richards available for transfer after their relegation from League One.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, the 22-year-old joined the Saddlers on a season-long loan on deadline day in September, but minutes were limited at Bescot.
He logged 259 minutes across 10 League Two appearances in 2025-26, starting only once in a goalless draw with Crawley Town on 27 January.
His only goals for Walsall, two in total, arrived in a 2-1 win at Stevenage in the EFL Trophy round of 32 in December. The former West Brom and Aston Villa academy player also started four of the five Trophy matches.
In total he made 16 appearances, scoring twice and setting up two more. He is one of six loanees to depart, alongside Myles Roberts, Kacper Lopata, Jid Okeke, Aaron Loupalo-Bi and Daniel Kanu.
Richards remains under contract at Port Vale until summer 2027. Ex-Walsall pair Liam Gordon and George Hall remain under contract with the Valiants next season.
