Porto coach Francesco Farioli is so satisfied with Samu Aghehowa’s improvements that the Italian tactician has nicknamed the striker ‘Francesco Totti.’
Porto beat José Mourinho’s Benfica 1-0 in the Taça de Portugal on Wednesday, and Farioli’s praise for his striker Samu has not gone unnoticed in Italy.

Official: Farioli appointed head coach of FC Porto.
“Samu’s evolution has been remarkable. At the start of the season, I heard many comments about the fact that he did not fit our playing style and I’ve always said I loved working with him,” the Italian tactician told reporters via TMW.

“He is young, there are things he needs to improve and let me joke that thanks to his improvements with the first touch, I’ve called him Francesco Totti, because he made some passes that reminded me of the Italian legend who used to make similar passes.
