Just two days after Graham Potter's dismissal, West Ham played their first match under Nuno Espírito Santo this Monday. On the pitch at Hill Dickinson Stadium, the Londoners snatched a point against Everton (1-1).

The Toffees quickly took the lead thanks to Michael Keane, who scored with a powerful header in the 18th minute. Trailing for much of the game, the Hammers finally responded in the second half. With just over twenty minutes remaining, Jarrod Bowen found the breakthrough with a superb strike, securing a draw for his team and sparing the new Portuguese manager a disappointing debut.
