Real Madrid’s pursuit of Enzo Fernandez appears to be gathering momentum, with fresh reports suggesting the Argentine midfielder’s camp is actively working to make a move to the Santiago Bernabeu a reality.
According to El Debate, the Chelsea star remains determined to join Real Madrid and is pushing for a transfer once his international commitments come to an end.
The midfielder is reportedly keen to wear the famous white shirt next season and believes the coming weeks could be decisive for his future.
The report claims that efforts are already underway to help bridge the gap between the two clubs and create a pathway towards an agreement.
While completing a deal of this magnitude will not be easy, Real Madrid continue to view Enzo as one of the leading candidates to strengthen their midfield for the future.

One of the most significant developments concerns the role being played by the player’s representatives.
According to the report, Enzo’s agent, Javier Pastore, has already held discussions with influential super-agent Jorge Mendes in an attempt to facilitate negotiations between Chelsea and Real Madrid.
The objective is to create the conditions necessary for both clubs to sit down and explore a possible agreement.
While the midfielder remains under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2030, there is growing belief that a transfer could represent the best solution for all parties involved, as his relationship with the Chelsea board has deteriorated.
Despite all that, Chelsea remain in a strong contractual position and are expected to demand a huge fee before even considering negotiations.

Notably, Chelsea invested heavily when they signed Enzo from Benfica, paying around €121 million to secure his services.
According to the report, the London club are now seeking approximately €140 million if they are to sanction a sale.
Real Madrid, meanwhile, are prepared to offer around €100 million plus performance-related bonuses, creating a considerable gap between the two valuations.
Furthermore, one possibility involves including a Real Madrid player as part of the deal in order to reduce the overall cash payment and bring negotiations closer to Chelsea’s demands.
At present, everything is just talk of the town rather than a reality, and Real Madrid are unlikely to engage in a transfer of this magnitude in a hush.
