The Juventus Men’s First Team beat Genoa 2-0 at home on Serie A Matchday 31, with Bremer and Weston McKennie scoring in the first half.
Here are the thoughts of coach Luciano Spalletti and Gleison Bremer after the game.
“I’m pleased with the team’s performance. The side that set the tone in the first half was extraordinary, making the right choices and decisions on how to approach the game; the side in the second half, which was somewhat at the mercy of chance, needs to improve, because if Genoa had scored from the penalty spot, the result would have been in doubt – but given how we played in the first 45 minutes, there can be no question about it.”
“We’re doing well. The important thing is the victory for the team because it wasn’t an easy match. In every game, we have to perform at Juventus’ level – that’s what the manager demands, and it’s also what this shirt demands of you, to fight to win. We’re not quite there this year, but we have to qualify for the Champions League.”
