England head to Miami today to take on Norway in the FIFA World Cup quarter-final, as they look to reach the final four for just the fourth time in history.

So far, England have topped the group ahead of Croatia, Ghana and Panama, before a late winner against DR Congo set up a thrilling tie with Mexico at the Azteca last time out, which saw England overcome the atmosphere and run out 3-2 winners.

Meanwhile, Norway finished as runners-up in their group, behind France but ahead of Senegal and Iraq, before knocking out Ivory Coast and Brazil in the first two knockout rounds, both with 2-1 wins, with Erling Haaland unsurprisingly getting himself on the scoresheet.

England will certainly have a job on their hands if they are to keep the Manchester City forward quiet, which will undoubtedly be made harder by the reported absence of Marc Guehi, who has started every game for the Three Lions except for their opener against Croatia.

Most will assume that Dan Burn will take his place following his excellent substitute performance against Mexico, where he dealt with Raúl Jiménez superbly.

Jarrel Quansah and Jordan Henderson will also be unavailable for selection by Thomas Tuchel due to suspension and injury, respectively. Meanwhile, Norway will have the full 26-man squad at their disposal.

These two sides have never met in a competitive fixture; their only prior meetings were friendlies in 2012 and 2014, both of which saw England pick up 1-0 wins, thanks to goals from Ashley Young and Wayne Rooney.

The game is scheduled to kick off at 10pm BST and will be broadcast live on ITV1.
