Pressure is mounting on Sergio Francisco as Real Sociedad sit in the relegation zone following a 1-1 draw away to Celta Vigo.
The Basque side welcomes Sevilla to the Reale Stadium and are desperate for a win. Their only La Liga victory this season came against struggling Mallorca on September 24, and they have since drawn three and lost four matches.
Before the international break, they were also beaten 1-0 at home by Rayo Vallecano and currently sit 18th in the table with six points.
At the Reale Stadium, Real Sociedad have historically held the upper hand against Sevilla, winning 39 of their 70 encounters.
However, a loss could see them drop below Real Oviedo into 19th place if the Carbayones defeat Girona at the Estadi Montilivi tomorrow night.
Francisco will be without Takefusa Kubo (fitness) and Orru Oskarsson (thigh) due to injury.
Sevilla arrive in San Sebastián following a 4-1 win over Barcelona and a recent 3-1 defeat to Mallorca. The visitors sit ninth with 14 points, three behind fourth-placed Atlético Madrid.
The two sides have met 140 times in all competitions, with Real Sociedad winning 54 matches. Sevilla have won their last three league encounters against the Basque side, including a 1-0 victory in March.
Real Sociedad last beat Sevilla in the league with a 2-0 win in November 2024 at Andalucía.
For Sevilla, Matías Almeyda will be hoping to record successive wins against Real Sociedad for the first time since 2021. Tanguy Nianzou, Joan Jordán, and Alfonso González are doubtful for the trip, while former Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj, Akor Adams, and Chidera Ejuke are all available.
The match will be broadcast live on Premier Sports 2 in the UK, with a kick-off time of 20:00 [BST].
