Primera Nacional and Primera B ‘to be shown’ on AFA Play

Argentina’s Ascenso could be shown on AFA Play in 2026, with the TV plan still unclear days before the new season.

According to La Red, the Liga Profesional’s streaming platform, also referred to as LPF Play, could carry Primera Nacional and Primera B, with production and structure yet to be defined.

The service currently streams the Torneo Proyección, the reserve league, along with fixtures from the women’s championship.

Until recently, indications had pointed to TyC Sports keeping the second and third tiers on air, although nothing is settled.

Confirmation is pending and time is short before Primera Nacional and Primera B kick off.

TV-rights payments to clubs by category are set as follows. Primera Nacional: $65.000.000. Primera B: $20.000.000. Primera C: $12.000.000. Federal A: $12.000.000.
