According to Mundo Deportivo, prosecutors in Oviedo have sought a one-year prison term, a €2,880 fine and €2,000 in damages for an Oviedo supporter accused of racist behaviour towards Kylian Mbappé during a La Liga match in August.
The incident took place on 24 August as Real Oviedo faced Real Madrid, a game the visitors won 3-0 with the France captain scoring twice.

The supporter is alleged to have made monkey gestures in the 37th minute towards Mbappé while he celebrated the opening goal.
He was identified from footage shared on social media and shown on television, then taken into police custody.
Prosecutors have recognised intoxication as a mitigating circumstance in the case.
