Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly joined Premier League heavyweights Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea in the race to sign Morgan Rogers (23), according to The Telegraph.

Although he recently extended his contract with Aston Villa until 2031, the English midfielder could now be the subject of bids estimated at around €100 million. Middlesbrough, who sold the Halsowen-born player to the Villans in the winter of 2024, retain a 20% share of the proceeds from the resale of their former player.

Facing financial difficulties, Aston Villa may therefore be forced to part ways with Rogers, a key player in Unai Emery’s side and a likely starter in the England midfield (13 caps, one goal).

Although no offer has yet been made to the Birmingham club’s management, Manchester United’s interest in the 23-year-old could well prove to be the most serious. Having joined Boro from Manchester City at the request of Michael Carrick, then manager of the North Yorkshire club, Rogers had forged close ties with his former manager, who is reportedly very keen on the idea of reuniting with him at the Red Devils, where Carrick could be confirmed as manager for next season.

Having started in 41 of the 44 matches he has played in all competitions, Rogers is a versatile player sought after by many clubs, having already scored 10 goals and provided seven assists since the start of the season.
