Bayern: Kompany reveals his ambitions ahead of the PSG clash

PSG – Bayern: Kompany warns Luis Enrique
On the eve of a red-hot showdown at the Parc des Princes, Vincent Kompany made no attempt to hide his respect for Paris Saint-Germain. While he admires the work of Luis Enrique, the Belgian tactician was clear: his Bayern Munich side are coming to Paris with a single goal—to topple the reigning European champions.
Unbeaten in fourteen matches, the Bavarians are arriving at full throttle. Their last defeat? Against this very PSG, last summer, at the Club World Cup. That only adds an extra layer of revenge to this clash between two heavyweights of European football. Kompany knows it: to have any hope of victory in Paris, his men will have to be nothing short of flawless.
"We have to believe in our chances. Against a team like PSG, you need a perfect game," said the Bayern coach,
fully aware of the challenge’s complexity.
But beyond the statistics, Kompany was eager to highlight PSG’s constant improvement: a united squad, aggressive in regaining possession, and capable of brilliance both collectively and individually.
"PSG isn’t just about one star. They have real collective strength," he insisted,
singling out Nuno Mendes as one of the club’s rising talents.
The stage is set: two football giants, pride on the line, and a promise of spectacle. Tomorrow night, Paris could once again become the center of the footballing world.
