Arsenal have a good number of players involved at the World Cup this summer, with Declan Rice, Eberechi Eze, Bukayo Saka, and Noni Madueke all called up, and Ethan Nwaneri linking up to add Thomas Tuchel’s squad with their pre-tournament preparations.
Only Manchester City can match Arsenal’s four England call-ups, with James Trafford, Marc Guehi, Nico O’Reilly, and John Stones all involved as well.
Aston Villa are the only other club to have more than two, with Ezri Konsa, Ollie Watkins, and Arsenal target Morgan Rogers.
Liverpool don’t have any players in the England squad, Spurs have just one, Chelsea have two following Trevoh Chalobah’s late call-up, and Manchester United have two as well, if you include Barcelona loanee Marcus Rashford.

Yet there was still one notable Arsenal omission from Tuchel’s squad, with Myles Lewis-Skelly failing to make the cut, and Paris Saint-Germain duo Nuno Mendes and Goncalo Ramos were shocked to discover the versatile left-back/midfielder won’t be involved.
“So there’s no Lewis-Skelly?” Ramos said on Pedro Teixeira Da Mota’s YouTube channel (via Metro).
“No, no,” Mendes replied as he read the squad list.
“He’s not in the midfield?” Ramos responded. “I was pretty sure he was called up.”
The show host responded: “No and notice, not only is he not there, in the news of the guys who are out, he’s not there either!”
“He was not called up by the newspaper!” Ramos joked. “Like he was a starter for the Arsenal games, Premier League champion, and he plays at left-back and plays midfield, it’s good to have this versatility.”

Having played against Lewis-Skelly on a few occasions over the last year or so, the PSG players evidently feel the Arsenal teenager was worthy of a call-up for the World Cup. But it wasn’t to be, so Tuchel will have to hope the players he did call up can do the job.
