Barcelona appeared in control for much of their Champions League clash against PSG, taking the lead through Ferran Torres.
The forward capitalised on a defensive lapse to put the Blaugrana ahead in the first half, giving fans hope that the team could secure an important victory.
Despite this early advantage, Barcelona struggled to maintain their momentum. PSG equalised before halftime, and the second half saw the French side dominate possession.
Barcelona found it increasingly difficult to contain PSG’s attacks, losing the rhythm that had carried them in the opening stages of the match.
The decisive moment came in the 90th minute when Goncalo Ramos scored the winning goal for PSG, completing a 2-1 comeback.
After the match, the Portuguese striker’s words immediately drew attention.

“If you’re the best, you have to prove it on the pitch, not talk about it,” he said, a statement many interpreted as a direct challenge to Barcelona, highlighting the missed chance to hold their lead.
Ramos continued, reflecting on the tight nature of the contest: “It was a close match. But we still believe in ourselves.
“We have injured players, but those who played today were great. We like playing football, even with a lot of injuries.
“We know it’s going to be harder this year because everyone wants to play against us, to beat us.”
For Barcelona, Ramos’ comments reflect the bitter reality of the match: despite taking the lead, they were unable to manage PSG’s response.
The loss serves as a reminder of the intensity required at this stage of the Champions League and the importance of maintaining focus until the final whistle.
While the Blaugrana showed promise, it was PSG who ultimately demonstrated their experience and resilience on the big stage.
