The Lamine Yamal to PSG rumor continues to be alive and well. Recently, that buzz again emerged during this international window and on the heels of the Ligue 1 side beating Barcelona on Matchday 2 of the UEFA Champions League’s league phase.
Journalist Romain Molina reported that Yamal is still on the radar of those at Parc des Princes. On his YouTube channel, he said:
“In Doha (PSG’s owners are Qatar Sports Investments), they say: ‘We want him’. In Doha, it has been decided that they want him, whatever it takes, one day.”
Lamine Yamal is now under contract with Barcelona through 2031, making any move appear highly unlikely. PSG are reported to have gauged interest, though those within Barcelona claim of a formal offer “coming from France” have been dismissed by sources in Paris.
The supposed proposal was valued at an eye-watering €250 million, which might even make Barcelona consider selling. Still, the club is expected to do everything possible to fend off any approaches.

Nonetheless, these rumors of PSG having an interest in Yamal don’t make sense to French pundit Pierre Ménès.
“That seems completely off the radar and against Luis Enrique’s philosophy,” Ménès (h/t Le10Sport). “Of course, the profile is appealing, but there’s another part to it—the behavior, the entourage. I’m convinced that this displeases Luis Enrique. So, I don’t believe it for a second.”
