PSG Outcast on AC Milan, Villarreal’s Radar After Rejecting €15M Fenerbahçe Move | OneFootball

Marco Asensio’s future isn’t with PSG after the capital club allowed him to leave last winter transfer window to Aston Villa. Despite producing goals for the English club, they opted not to keep Asensio past his loan spell.

The 29-year-old Spain international spent the past six months on loan at Aston Villa, where he scored eight goals and provided one assist in 21 appearances. His contract with PSG runs through June 2026.

According to L’Équipe, Asensio has turned down a €15 million move to Fenerbahçe, and now AC Milan are exploring a potential deal instead.

Fenerbahçe’s offer—which included performance-related bonuses—was accepted by the club, but the report notes that Asensio isn’t keen on a move to the Turkish Süper Lig.

The report adds that Spaniard is waiting to know all his options on the market before making a decision, especially as AC Milan have begun talks to try to finalize a transfer.

AC Milan doesn’t have unlimited financial resources, but could still reach an agreement with PSG. At the same time, Villarreal have expressed interest to the player’s camp, though the La Liga side doesn’t appear to have the financial means required.
