Whilst Ousmane Dembélé has returned to first-team training and is expected to be in the matchday squad to face AS Monaco at the Parc des Princes on Friday night, the Ballon d’Or winner is not expected to lead the line for Paris Saint-Germain.
Dembélé has been out of action for over a fortnight due to a minor injury sustained against Monaco in the UEFA Champions League. His return is a big boost for PSG, ahead of the upcoming midweek game against Chelsea.
In his absence on Friday, Bradley Barcola could play through the middle for PSG, with Désiré Doué on the right and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia on the left. Fabián Ruiz, Joao Neves, and Quentin Ndjantou all remain sidelined, but the former two are nearing their returns.
