Paris Saint-Germain have been ordered to pay former forward Kylian Mbappé (26) €61m in unpaid wages and bonuses, following Tuesday’s decision by the Labour Court in the French capital. All four judges ruled in favour of the Real Madrid centre-forward.

Mbappé has been in a legal dispute with PSG ever since his departure on a free transfer back in the summer of 2024. PSG had put forward a counterclaim of €440m last month, whilst Mbappé had, through his lawyers, demanded a sum of €263m, which included the unpaid wages and bonuses, as well as for moral harassment, defamation, and revision of contract.

Les Parisiens have now reacted to the ruling in the following statement, seen by Get French Football News:

“Paris Saint-Germain takes note of the judgment pronounced by the Paris Labour Court, which it will execute, while reserving the right to appeal.

Paris Saint-Germain has always acted in good faith and with integrity, and will continue to do so.

The Club is now looking to the future, based on unity and collective success, and wishes the player the best for the rest of his career.”
