Fichajes has reported that PSG are interested in signing Declan Rice from Arsenal in the upcoming summer transfer window and are lining up with a big offer for the midfielder. They are ready to spend €135 million to sign the English midfielder, which is quite a big offer, to say the least.
Rice is definitely one of the first names to feature in the playing XI. He is an integral part of the setup and the Gunners value him at €160 million. The French giants are in need of a defensive midfielder and hence want to sign Rice from Arsenal.
Rice is a top-tier midfielder who brings a brilliant mix of quality and grit to the pitch. His composure on the ball is outstanding—he rarely looks flustered, making smart, simple passes that keep play ticking over. Defensively, he’s a beast, reading the game like a seasoned pro and breaking up attacks with well-timed tackles. He’s not flashy, but his work rate and positional sense are unreal, giving his team a solid backbone. At just 26, he’s already a leader, barking orders and lifting those around him. Rice is the kind of player every manager dreams of: reliable, versatile, and clutch when it counts.

Rice has scored 1 goal in 24 matches so far in the Premier League 2024/2025 season. His total G/A (goals + assists) is 6 for this season. Looking into his passing aspect of the game, Rice passes the ball roughly 47.97 times during a game with a pass completion rate of 90.18%. He also plays 2.01 key passes each game. Overall, Rice’s xA (expected assists) output is 0.31 per 90 minutes.
Rice is definitely happy with his situation at Arsenal and hence will definitely not want to leave the Gunners. Moreover, he is an important player of the team, and hence Arsenal will also not be looking to sell him despite the offer. So, it is quite certain that the move of Declan Rice to PSG won’t happen in the summer. Now, we have to wait till the summer transfer window to witness what finally unfolds.
