PSG Slammed for Handling of Talks With Juventus Over Tottenham Newcomer | OneFootball

Journalist Ben Jacobs has reported that after negotiations with Juventus fell through, PSG sent Randal Kolo Muani on loan to Tottenham Hotspur for the 2025-26 season.

The deal allows the French striker to recapture the form he once displayed in Italy. While Aston Villa and Newcastle United made late pushes for him, Tottenham ultimately secured his services for this campaign.

Despite having talks all summer, Juventus and PSG couldn’t come to an agreement on a transfer. As a result, it led to the transfer deadline move to Spurs for Kolo Muani.

Juventus Defended After Failed Talks With PSG

Asked by the media outlet Tuttojuve, Massimo Pavan defended Juventus in the matter regarding Kolo Muani.

“I don’t understand what PSG wanted,” explained the SportMediaSet journalist (h/t Foot01). “Juventus made an offer. If they wanted to give him five million without conditions, they could have done it. I think that if they had made him an offer at the start of the transfer window, Juventus would have immediately accepted.”

According to The Independent’s Miguel Delaney, Tottenham stepped away from what could have been one of the summer transfer window’s most significant moves while chasing a top-tier attacking signing.

The club ultimately focused on bringing in the French international forward after the Serie A team reportedly set a staggering £87 million price tag on Rafael Leao.
