Holders could be drawn with the Blues on Friday
Chelsea hold no fear for Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, according to Desire Doue.
Holders PSG edged out French rivals Monaco 2-2 on Wednesday evening in the second leg of their knockout-round playoff on Wednesday, advancing 5-4 on aggregate.
Monaco took the lead on the stroke of half-time through Maghnes Akliouche, but after Mamadou Coulibaly was sent off, PSG took immediate advantage to equalise through Marquinhos in the 60th minute and then went ahead six minutes later through Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
But Monaco set up a furious finish when substitute Jordan Teze scored from Simon Adingra's cross to make it 2-2 in stoppage time and Wout Faes missed a last-gasp chance to force the game into extra time as a glancing header went wide.
PSG will now face Chelsea or Barcelona in the Champions League last-16 stage, and Doue says his team will be confident ahead of facing either.
"It’s going to be two great games,” Doue told UEFA.
“In any case, we’ll approach them with a lot of confidence, and we’re ready to go up against them regardless of which team it is."
He added: "We’re really happy to get through. It was so important to pass this test. We managed to show great spirit, and remained resilient, showing that by coming back from behind."
“[Monaco] are a great side, with a lot of quality and some top players. Every game in the Champions League is difficult. Tonight we managed to get the job done, and that’s the most important thing."
PSG head coach Luis Enrique said: “We are ready to play against any team, we are used to playing these difficult matches. Barcelona or Chelsea, it will be great.”
