PSG v Arsenal final peaks above 14 million viewers

On Saturday night, the Champions League final between PSG and Arsenal ended 1-1 after extra time, with PSG winning 4-3 on penalties. It drew nine point one nine million viewers, and the audience peaked at more than 14 million at the end.
According to L'Équipe, the shootout attracted 12.9 million viewers, split between nine point eight million on M6, a 46.6% share, and three point one million on Canal+, 14.6%.
Between 18:00 and 21:00, M6 averaged about six point two five million viewers, a 36.1% share, with a 10.4 million peak at the end of the match.
Canal+ and Canal+ Foot combined averaged two point nine four million viewers in that slot, a 17% share, and peaked at three point seven million at 21:00.
This season, Champions League nights on the pay-TV channel averaged one point eight two million viewers. The 2025 final against Inter finished 5-0 and averaged 11.52 million, although that match kicked off in prime time at 21:00.
