PSG host Metz in Ligue 1 at the Parc des Princes on Saturday, 21 February 2026, with the home side chasing top spot and the visitors battling to climb out of the bottom two.
PSG edged the reverse fixture 3-2 in December and arrive second on 51 points. Metz are 18th with 13 points and deep in trouble.
Form points to the hosts: PSG have won four of their past five league matches, including a 5-0 win against Marseille, though they lost at Rennes last time out. Metz are winless in five in the league, losing four, with a goalless draw against Lille their only recent point.
Luis Enrique is without Fabián Ruiz and Senny Mayulu until 26 February, Ousmane Dembélé is sidelined, and Quentin Ndjantou is out longer term. Metz miss Benjamin Stambouli until 1 April, while Gauthier Hein and Joseph Mangondo are also out.
On the pitch, PSG's control game could tell: they average 68% possession, complete 91.36% of passes, have scored 49 and kept 11 clean sheets. Vitinha has a joint league high seven assists, while Bradley Barcola leads their Ligue 1 scoring with seven. Metz have conceded 49 and scored 22. With Hein's six goals and four assists unavailable, Habib Diallo may carry much of their threat.
A win would take PSG to 54 points and could restore first place in the title race. Victory for Metz would lift them to 16 points and may cut the gap to the sides above as they fight to avoid relegation.
