Luis Enrique will be without Vitinha for Paris Saint-Germain’s home game against Nantes on Wednesday at 19:00, the rescheduled match from the 26th round of Ligue 1. According to L'Équipe, the midfielder was hurt in the 1-2 loss to Lyon and is not in the squad.

PSG seek a swift response at the Parc des Princes and to keep first place, three days after that setback. The coach has named 21 players, with Nuno Mendes out after his 14 April injury against Liverpool and currently in a return to fitness phase before the Champions League semi-final with Bayern.

There are positives. Fabian Ruiz, back at Lyon after nearly three months out, is included again, hinting he has put his injury behind him. In midfield, João Neves, Warren Zaïre-Emery and Kang-In Lee are available.

In attack, Ousmane Dembélé, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Bradley Barcola and Gonçalo Ramos are all in contention, as is 18-year-old Ibrahim Mbaye, who returns after only 190 minutes since the Africa Cup of Nations, and several matches out. Captain Marquinhos and Achraf Hakimi bolster the defence.

Facing a Nantes side in serious danger and still battling relegation, PSG can ill afford another slip in a packed schedule. Victory would give them breathing space at the top, defeat would leave Lens within one point.
