The Hoops have expressed an interest in the 30-year-old.
QPR are stepping up their pursuit of a new goalkeeper as they look to add quality and depth to a position of need.
Julien Stephan only has Joe Walsh and Murphy Cooper within his ranks after Ben Hamer and Paul Nardi left the club upon the expiration of their respective contracts.
Walsh was the Hoops' first choice for much of last season, making 23 Championship appearances, while Cooper impressed during loan spells with Barnsley and Sheffield Wednesday but has been linked with a move away from Loftus Road.
Now, the R's are targeting Livingston's number one, but they face competition from a host of second-tier clubs.

Conceding goals was certainly an issue for QPR last season as Stephan's side let in 73 goals, with only relegated Sheffield Wednesday conceding more.
The Hoops enjoyed spells of flirting with the play-offs last term, but ultimately their lack of quality showed as they ended the campaign in dismal form, slipping to 15th place.
If the West London outfit are going to improve next season, then they need to strengthen their backline and goalkeeping department, which currently looks incredibly short of depth.
QPR have expressed an interest in Livingston keeper Jerome Prior, according to Sky Sports News.
However, the publication understands that the 30-year-old is being monitored by a number of Championship clubs, meaning that competition for the Frenchman is set to be fierce.
Prior signed a new contract with the Scottish side last summer and has two years remaining on his deal at the Almondvale Stadium.

At 30 years of age, Prior has enjoyed a long career and has played across Europe, although he is yet to feature in English football.
The Frenchman had been without a club for a year when he joined Livingston on a free transfer in 2024 and has since made 88 appearances, conceding 111 goals.
His first season at the Almondvale Stadium was a successful one as Livi were promoted to the Scottish Premiership, with Prior first choice between the sticks.
Last term was a more challenging one for the 30-year-old and his club as they were immediately relegated back to the Championship, keeping four clean sheets.
Despite their relegation, Prior still demonstrated some admirable statistics, with the goalkeeper acting as a sweeper more than any other shot-stopper in the division, according to Fotmob.
Furthermore, he created more assists than any other keeper in the division and ranked in the top eight per cent of shot-stoppers for saves and accurate long balls.
Given that QPR need at least one goalkeeper this summer, Prior could be a shrewd addition as he possesses vast experience and would come at a reduced cost.
One pointed to the fact that the Hoops need a backup goalkeeper, and another stated his desire to sign a shot-stopper with EFL experience.
